Pipe and tube bending, formed accurately and repeatably.

Metal Tech bends pipe and tube to custom angles, radii and shapes on 5-axis CNC bending machines at our Brackenfell, Cape Town factory. Bends stay strong and structurally sound — no kinking or collapse — whether you need one architectural piece or a production run of identical parts.

5-axis CNC bending

Our CNC pipe benders form complex, multi-bend parts in a single setup. Programmed bending means every part in a run is identical — critical for assemblies, replacement parts and anything that has to fit first time.

Custom angles, radii and shapes

From a simple 90° elbow to U-bends and multi-plane shapes, we bend to your drawing or specification. Tight radii and repeat patterns are formed without compromising the integrity of the material.

Fabrication and finishing

Where a job needs more than a bend, our team welds, assembles and finishes pipe sets in-house — so you collect finished, ready-to-fit parts rather than pieces.

FAQ

Pipe & tube bending questions, answered

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.

What's the difference between pipe bending and tube bending?

Pipe is sized by its inside diameter and used to carry liquids or gases; tube is sized by its outside diameter and used structurally. Metal Tech bends both, on the same 5-axis CNC machines, to custom angles and radii.

What materials can you bend?

Steel, stainless steel and aluminium pipe and tube, with other metals available on request. Tell us the material, diameter and wall thickness and we'll confirm capability on your part.

Can you do small runs or once-off bends?

Yes — we handle small and large runs, with quick turnaround on prototypes as well as production. One-off architectural pieces are as welcome as repeat industrial work.

Will the pipe kink or collapse at the bend?

No. Our CNC bending process keeps the pipe strong and structurally sound through the bend, maintaining the integrity of the material even at tight radii.

How do I get a pipe bending quote?

Send a drawing, sketch or specification — PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP or even a clear photo with dimensions — through our enquiry form, with the material and quantity. Quotes are free.
